Great home-made ice cream. Nostalgic decor from the late 70s / early 80s. Friendly staff. Great place with plenty of outdoor seating!

The employees were so nice and the ice cream was good also. I would recommend you to go to Kirk's at myrtle beach.

Had plenty of ice cream choices and reasonable prices. What more would you want? Staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean.We went for the moose tracks and upgrading scoops was better than getting an extra bowl.

this location looks like it hasn't changed much since it was originally open. Percentage of city if you want to enjoy your ice cream inside and there is outdoor seating and free samples are available upon request.

Delicious ice cream. I had blueberry pie, never had it before, and I'm not a real sweets dude. Wonderful. Wifey had a chocolate malt, now that was some tasty goodness. Worth the stop. And the young man behind the counter was actually eager to wait on us. Seems small, but so many times these young kids look like you're such an inconvenient nuisance. Not today. Thank you for great food and good service.

Nice old school ice cream parlor.

My wife loves their ice cream. She especially likes the orange pineapple. Every time we come to Myrtle Beach she has to come to Kirk's 1890 ice cream.

So much variety! They have a lot of different flavors of ice cream, and the ones we tried were delicious!

My Child has food allergies and it's so hard to find place that will go the extra mile for allergies. After walking out of 2 other places because of his allergies. Kirk's was amazing and went above expectation. Not only using a clean scoop but opening a new tub of icecream so there was no cross contamination. From a mama of a child with food allergies Thank you for make our vacation amazing.

👏 Great ice cream shop! I never eat ice cream unless i'm on vacation so this was a special treat. They did not disappoint. Generous scoops & the dipped waffle cone was to die for. Everyone in our party of 5 loved it all! We will return every year!

Great atmosphere and ambience. The staff was fantastic. They were very busy but they handled everything with expert precision and no one waited long. Plenty of seating inside and out. Ice cream was nothing fancy and prices were a little high but probably average for the area.

Came to get ice cream while on vacation and if I could give 10 stars I would!! I’m HIGHLY allergic to peanuts and latex and my husband ordered an ice cream with peanuts in it and I asked the guy to make mine first since I’m allergic to peanuts and that’s when I noticed his gloves was latex. This gentleman not only took off the gloves washed his hands extremely well and got a new tube of ice cream new scooper and even washed the milkshake maker before making mine. Let me tell you being in the healthcare field, I’m extremely great full that someone who isn’t in the field takes an allergic reaction seriously.. If this gentleman didn’t do that I would have been in the hospital tonight for sure, even though I have my meds for my allergic reaction I still would have had to be taken to the hospital.. If the gentleman sees this THANK YOU again from the bottom of my heart.. and you sir deserve a raise!!

Delicious ice cream!!! Plenty of flavors - classic, seasonal and unique choices. Friendly staff, easy parking, and bottom line, the ice cream was on point and portions were huge! Free water cups that aren’t the size of my pinky we’re are also a nice extra touch.

Nice local place for ice cream. Lots of flavors to choose from and chocolate covered cones. Prices and dip size were pretty good. Kids like playing Pac-Man. Will be back.

Genuine ice cream parlor. In my opinion very high prices, but in- line with all others in the area. $5 for one scoop. $9 for a banana split. A great selection of flavors and essentially unlimited choices for topping combinations.

The nostalgia here was so 70, 80's vibe! Ice cream was good. I was expecting the ice cream to be extraordinarily good! It wasn't!

I've been coming here since I was 7 years old whenever my family came to the beach. Never get tired of it. Recently visited with some buddies of mine on spring break and they loved it as well. Will never forget to make a stop when in town.

Outside looks outdated, and I guess it sorta fits the theme. Loved the ice cream! My girlfriend had the nutty coconut, and I had the cookies n fudge dream cone. Pony rides-50cents. Claw machine. Arcade games. Old school, but definitely good ice cream

Great ice cream with a lot of flavors! Staff are very nice and friendly. Has some video game machines inside. I have been coming to this place since I was a kid 10-20 years ago, and its still just as good.

First time guest! Great Retro atmosphere and ambience. The ice cream is really, really good here. This is a great place to bring friends and family or a nice spot to visit to escape the beach heat. Parlor is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. You can taste all the flavors that you want too! Definitely adding this spot to my go-to list 🍦 🍨😋!!

Went here on our vacation to Myrtle Beach. The staff was friendly and there was a large selection to choose from. But, the ice cream wasn't great especially for the price. It tasted more like ice and wasn't very creamy.

If you love ice cream youll love kirks. My wife and i take the kids here every year and we are never let down. They have so much to choose from and not to mention when you walk in...its walking into an old fashion ice cream parlor that everyone are always kind and friendly. Cant wait to go back!

Always first class ice cream. Great novelty cones as well as homemade flavors you won't find elsewhere. Tonight's choices for the family were Cookie Dough, Pumpkin Pie, Vanilla Water Pudding, and Chocolate... All AMAZING!!!

Heard good things. The hotel told me to visit Mistake in wearing a political hat. Literally, the staff looked at us like we were insects. Very sad people have to be so petty. I’ve cream tasted great though.

I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and even though there was a line, they moved people through quickly. The ice cream was delicious. My friend has a tree nut allergy and they were extra careful and very accommodating. There is a lot of seating indoors and it’s just a really cool and cute place.

The Ice Cream was good but expensive. Got two cones and two kiddies (very small) cup of Ice Cream and it was $20.

Love this place and have been coming here for yrs and yrs on vacation a must stop at place
